If your device is handheld or wearable, like a health tracker, smart tag, or compact control unit, smaller screens from 0.96″ to 2.8″ are ideal. They’re light, efficient, and easy to integrate in tight spaces.

For interfaces requiring user interaction, like smart home panels, industrial controls, or embedded HMIs, the mid-range sizes between 3.5” and 10.1” give enough space for clarity and touch-friendly design.

If you’re working on kiosks, digital signage, or complex dashboards, a larger display (15.0”–21.5”) provides the visual real estate needed for graphs, multiple inputs, or data-heavy screens.

Think about the environment
